New Funding Announcement
Simon House Recovery Centre has received the exciting news that the organization is a recipient of the Civil Society Fund!
The funding received will support an LGBTQ2S+ Alliance Recovery Project at Simon House. This project will collaborate with partners to research and implement a pilot approach to addressing unmet, intersecting needs of youth in the LGBTQ2S+ community, including addictions and mental health, discrimination, poverty and homelessness.
The Civil Society Fund is a provincial initiative that looks to address social problems facing Albertans. In total, Simon House has been awarded $200,000 to complete this work.
Thank you to the Government of Alberta and the Society Fund for allowing Simon House to complete this meaningful work!
