DAY PROGRAM: NEW LEAF HOLISTIC RECOVERY
This is a co-ed, 12-week intensive day treatment program which runs Monday to Friday from 9 am - 3:30 pm at Wild Rose United Church 1317 1 St NW.
The program offers a dynamic curriculum to support holistic learning and recovery, engaging the mind, heart, body and spirit. This includes psycho-ed, group therapy, individual counselling, experiential learning, expressive arts, embodiment and mindfulness practices, family supports and more. In its three stages, the evidence-based content guides its participants through processes of exploration, empowerment and expansion.
The holistic nature of this program promotes wellness and balance in the many areas of life as a foundation for change, growth and renewal. New Leaf Holistic Recovery will support its participants in understanding themselves and their environments on deeper levels, helping them to appreciate the complexity of the road that brought them here, and uncovering the hope and possibility of the ones that will lead them forward.
The program will ask for a $150 wellness deposit as an investment in your future which will be returned at the end of the program. If this is a significant barrier, a sliding scale may be accessed on approval.

What some participant members have said about the program:
“I've really loved this program so far. It's a very different approach than other inpatient and outpatient treatment programs I've been to. It's a very comfortable and safe feeling environment.”
“New Leaf is showing me that I'm not alone and there are others still struggling. It gives me hope that there are programs out there willing to help people like me to be to better themselves in a healthy environment.”
“I've learned so much so far and I have a sense of feeling safe and belonging. I've never taken a recovery program but find myself excited and happy to come here every day knowing I'm going to find myself a little bit more every time. It makes me want to continue. I don't think there's enough space to really say everything I'm taking away from such an amazing program."
